Welcome, MG

Hello there! My name is Martha Grace Curtis (or MG), and I am the assistant intern for the Envelope project this summer.

 I have been drawn to art for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I was constantly drawing, crafting, and writing. I picked up calligraphy in middle school and fell in love with it. Calligraphy transformed into graphic design, and I started my own business of logo, t-shirt, and poster design. I have been doing commission work ever since and I have loved every second of it. My long-term goal is to pursue and grow my business for as long as I can.

I heard about The Harrison Center from my friend Hogan Hickman who is the head intern for the Envelope Project. I am excited for the opportunity to work alongside her and put my hand lettering skills to the test while we hand address all 5000 of the letters. I look forward to the connections and relationships I will get to build here at the Harrison Center and I hope to help in their goal to reach and grow community through art.

 I am from Tampa FL, but I currently live in Chattanooga TN and study Graphic Design at Covenant College. It has been amazing to experience Hoosier hospitality and I look forward to coming back!
