Meet Robert Serov

I'm Robert Serov. I'm a freshman from Butler majoring in professional writing. I am excited to be the first AI Research Intern at the Harrison Center. (Don't worry, though, ChatGPT didn't write this.) 

I am going to help identify AI tools to help artists and arts organizations. In addition, I like telling people's stories. Helping people share their work is the reason I became a writer, and it's those writing skills that I'm hoping to improve here at the Harrison Center.

AI and artists haven't exactly been getting along recently, but the rest of the world is quickly adapting to it. Instead of fearing artificial intelligence, I think we ought to embrace it as a tool instead of as a replacement to make creative ventures easier and more unique. I'm excited to experiment and see what works with the Harrison Center’s help.
