Meet Leilani Whitsey

Hi! My name is Leilani Whitsey. I'm currently a senior at Herron-Riverside High School. In August, I was given the opportunity to intern at the Harrison Center, which I had briefly toured a few years prior.

Since joining, I've worked alongside many different people and have grown familiar with a group of passionate, hard-working, helpful individuals. After some time, I was invited to be the coordinating intern for the Bloombox Music Festival. I, of course, accepted the offer.

I find incredible value in taking on new responsibilities! I knew that I would have to challenge myself in public speaking, delegating tasks, running meetings, and exploring the music scene in Indianapolis. I'm grateful for what I've learned so far and excited to see everything finally come to fruition in June!
