Meet Bethany Warner

We are excited to introduce our full-time sustainability consultant. Bethany K. Warner, CFRE, is the founder of Blue Pen Consulting and has more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, and management.

Before launching Blue Pen Consulting, Bethany worked for The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. There, she raised funds for library programs for all patrons, from preschoolers through seniors. Additionally, she helped raise start-up support for innovative new library programs, including wi-fi hotspots and Chromebook lending, the Center for Black Literature & Culture at Central Library, and programs and materials to support immigrants, refugees, and non-native English speakers.

Bethany holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Anderson University and a Master’s degree from the University of Illinois-Springfield. She attained her Certified Fund Raising Executive credential in 2013. She is the current president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Indiana Chapter. When she’s not engaged in fundraising, you can often find her reading a good book or taking walks with her husband, Jeremiah, and their dog, Benny.
