Welcome, Josue!

Hello, my name is Josue Frausto-Gorostieta and I am a senior at Herron High School. I decided to pursue an internship at the Harrison Center because of the warm and welcoming environment that it and their staff bring. I am not necessarily artistically inclined, but walking around the Harrison Center and being around so many people that have a passion for different types of art makes me want to learn more, and be involved with the arts community here. The Harrison Centers’ work within the surrounding neighborhoods inspires me to become active in my community and work to make art and knowledge about cultures accessible to all. I can’t wait to meet the artists, community members, and volunteers that make this place so special.
