In the Harrison Gallery & Gallery Annex,
The Real Teal, 2024 color of our annual color-themed group exhibition. This collection features artwork by dozens of local artists, showcasing both traditional blue-green interpretations and unique creative variations.
In the Hank & Dolly’s Gallery,
A Piece Of Me by Juan. A captivating exhibit that delves into the artist's journey and self-discovery through the medium of oil and acrylic paints. It showcases the evolution of an emerging artist, revealing intimate layers of their growth and exploration.
In the Underground Gallery,
Connecting the Dots by Cagney King. A collection of mixed media paintings and drawings that reveal the evolution of the King's creative journey, highlighting how past works serve as pivotal transition pieces that inform and inspire future artistic directions.
In the Sky Gallery,
Sender/Reciever by Eric Lubrick. Lubrick’s latest body of work offers a unique exploration of the impact of technology on human connections through the lens of still-life photography. Merging natural and man-made elements, Lubrick evokes a sense of nostalgia for pre-digital socialization. Utilizing innovative techniques, including Liquid Nitrogen and a BB gun, these photographs capture the fleeting moment of impact between objects, inviting viewers to ponder the beauty of real-life abstractions and reconsider the value of genuine human connections in the digital age.
Guests can also enjoy:
The Winter Artisan Market (formerly INDIEana Handicraft Exchange) in the vintage gymnasium. For more than 15 years, this event has brought the finest in modern craft to Indianapolis. It features a wide variety of products, including jewelry, ceramics and pottery, toys, bags, journals, and one-of-a-kind finds, to help visitors start their holiday shopping.
The Annual Winter Window Walk outside around the perimeter of our building. This year, we introduce art and literature to the Window Walk with the theme BookTok. Local artists created three-dimensional displays in our street-level basement windows, recreating the nostalgic feeling of reading their favorite literature. This annual contest consists of a juried panel and public voting that will take place during First Friday. Cash prizes will be awarded to the artists who place 1st ($500), 2nd ($250), 3rd ($100), and Popular Vote ($100).
All shows will open at 6 pm on Friday, December 6th.
