This Valley of Tears In the Harrison Gallery, Jay Parnell's naturalistic oil paintings explore life, death, spirituality, and the passage of time. Parnell paints with painstaking detail, and depicts his subjects amidst mysterious encounters with the world around them. Welcome, Juniper & Phineas The Harrison Center has two new little patrons. Erika and Shane Blue welcomed baby Juniper back in July, and shortly after, Sarah and William Peacock welcomed their newest, baby Phineas. Erika and Sarah are staff members who support our artists and community in integral ways. They are both enjoying maternity leave to focus on their little ones. We can't wait to see more of them and their families soon. Meet Simone Simone Maxim is originally from California, and moved to Indy their freshman year of high school. Now, Simone is spending their senior year interning at the Harrison Center, with a special interest in film, screenwriting, and neighborhood storytelling. Read more about Simone on our blog post. Sharing our Resources Remember the 11 temporary buildings we built for PreEnactIndy? We are enjoying sharing them with others. Last week, PACE hosted the Recovery Walk and Celebration in Martindale Brightwood. We were able to share two of our buildings with them to serve as their event cafe and information station. To date, these resources have served neighbors in Butler Tarkington, Old Northside, Hillside and Martindale Brightwood. We look forward to seeing more of them in the community!
