December First Friday On December 2nd, 2022, we are calling all redheads and their friends to join us for First Friday and open studio night from 6 pm to 9 pm! Enjoy these openings: Ginger & Spice & Everything Nice, annual group color-themed show in the Harrison Gallery and Gallery Annex featuring over 145 pieces from 130 local artists. My Fair Indy by Dee Dee Bernhardt in the City Gallery. The Hood by Tashema Davis in the Speck Gallery. Medicine Man by Brian Charles Johnson in the Hank & Dolly’s Gallery. Indiana Plein Air Painters Association, a juried Member group exhibit in the Underground Gallery. Annual "Winter Window Walk" outside around the perimeter of our building. Volunteer Handicraft Exchange On First Friday, Guests can also experience the IndieAna Handicraft Exchange from 5 pm - 10 pm in the historic gymnasium with 45+ local vendors. Buy holiday gifts, including prints, jewelry, ceramics, and more. This is an amazing opportunity to support local vendors with the holiday season approaching.  Storytelling Drawing Session: Priscilla Anderson Born and raised in Indianapolis, Priscilla Anderson has memories of Indianapolis through its ups and downs. Priscilla is the model for this week's Storytelling Drawing Session — a weekly event in City Gallery where we invite a neighbor to tell their story. Artists of all skill levels are invited to sketch the model with any media they prefer. You can even knit or journal as you listen. Join us Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:00. RSVP here. Join us for FORgiving Tuesday: a day we set aside to process difficult emotions and exercise the power of forgiveness through art-based interactions.
