First Friday Volunteers Needed Our volunteers are an integral part of First Friday - they make it possible! Whether they are greeters or gallery attendants, our volunteers offer friendly faces to our patrons and help us run the event smoothly.
If you want to give back to your community, support local artists and foster new relationships, we ask you to consider giving a few hours of your time.
Thank you for considering volunteering! Embellish by Caleb Smith This concludes our fashion photo project with the Greatriarchs. Something special happens when a group of people gather to create something daring and unexpected. The day of the photoshoot was full of laughter, humor, and most importantly, tangible community.
Not only did we create beautiful images, we created a beautiful experience. Special thanks to our lovely Greatriarchs for bringing a unique part of themselves to every photo, and Stephen Hollenbeck for providing these fabulous garments. Pascal Glock on WFYI-FM
Former artist-in-residence, Pascal Glock, was recently featured on WFYI-FM. They discussed his album, Shelter Me, Indiana, that was written and produced during his time at the Harrison Center. Pascal spent 10 weeks in the summer of 2021 writing songs about the trees of Indianapolis.
Shelter Me, Indiana is now available to stream on Spotify.
