MLK Day On MLK day, we celebrate the civil rights activism of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the ongoing fight against racial inequality. Today we honor the giants of the civil rights movement who have fought for justice and liberty, helping to shape our culture and way of life. NEA City Studio Grant: Nina Grauley The National Endowment for the Arts recently awarded the Harrison Center $20,000 to support artists and designers in residence. This week we welcome our first "City Studio" artist, Nina Grauley, to Indianapolis for a ten-week residency. Nina, a botanical illustrator, comes to us after studying Natural Science Illustration at California State University. She will create work that explores the connection between community and fauna in urban Indianapolis neighborhoods.
