Eleven-eleven is a recurring number that holds deep significance for many, symbolizing angelic messages and meaningful moments. For artist Israel Solomon, this number appeared frequently during his teen and young adult years, ultimately inspiring this exhibition.
Solomon offers stories and scenarios from his childhood, not to alienate his stories but to find commonality with the audience. Moments of growing up, watching TV with family, and playing video games—memories many relate to, told in a way that welcomes shared experiences rather than setting them apart.

In May, Five-time James Beard Foundation Award Semifinalist Chef Regina Mehalick will be pairing with landscape painter and owner of Vining Gallery, Justin Vining, to create a celebration for the senses.

For the month of March, City Gallery is exhibiting Jennifer Neel's newest body of work, Local Indy, which seeks to highlight the local businesses that make Indianapolis special.
Some paintings include Indianapolis foodie favorites like croissants from Amelia's, donuts from Long's Bakery, and Cafe Babette's pastries. Other still-life paintings include products from ArtMix, art from Glass Arts Indiana, and even plants from Snakeroots.
