Spooky! In the Speck Gallery, Spooky! by Emma Overman is a macabre exhibit full of mystical characters who arrived just in time for the Halloween season. Overman paints in oil to create these magical scenes. Read more about Spooky! here and see what pieces are still available on the online gallery.  Limbo Courtland Blade's new show Limbo is in City Gallery this month. Blade paints landscapes with his signature spacious and contemplative style. In Limbo, city scenes and beachside moments with family all combine to create a slice-of-life exhibition reflecting on a society in recovery.  Read more about Limbo, and see what pieces are available here. Meet Angel Speaking of Courtland Blade, we are excited to work with his daughter, Angel. Angel is a student at Providence Cristo Rey high school and is interning at the Harrison Center this school year. Angel loves writing poetry and elevating stories through our ongoing Oral History project.  Read here to let Angel introduce herself. City Gallery Entrance Under Construction Have you ever noticed that it can be confusing to enter our building during office hours? This month the City Gallery coworking space at 15th and Delaware is getting an expanded interior entrance. This wiill help us serve our guests better with increased visibility from the receptionist desk to the front door. It will also provide greater accessibility for those with physical challenges and for art deliveries. Mural at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Harrison Center artists were commissioned to create art at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Congratulations to Derrick Carter, Israel Solomon, William Denton Ray, and Kyle Ragsdale! Pictured above is Ragsdale's mural at Gainbridge.
