Season of the Moon

This exhibition is extremely personal to me and has captured those moments in my life when I chose to sit quietly by myself. Then, magically, memories rise to the top and bring a smile to your face. These are memories and times that have specific meanings for me. Some even provoke specific emotions and are not your everyday thoughts.

As you view the exhibition you will notice that written titles, which generally give a glimpse of what the painting is about, are now replaced with numerical titles. The painting's numbers represent years or dates capturing a sense of a timeline of my life. I would like the viewer to connect personally to my experiences without being prompted by the title, but give the viewer the chance to connect with the art.

The pictures are of various sizes in the exhibition. However, the size does not determine the importance of the feeling expressed but gives more of an intimate look at those pieces. I look forward to seeing this body of work displayed together. I hope the pieces evoke times in your life that bring you happiness and touch the soul of who you are.

The show can be viewed anytime during the month of April in the Gallery Annex during Gallery Hours: Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The works can also be viewed and purchased on our online gallery through May.
