Meet Isabelle Torokwa

My name is Isabelle Torokwa. I am a musician originally from Atlanta, GA, with a concentration in vocal performance. I am very excited to take part in the Harrison Center's 12-month fellowship program as an Administrative Arts Fellow!

I graduated in May from Covenant College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. My Capstone, a voice recital entitled Age of Worry: Life and Love within the Mundane, centered around brokenness into restoration by exploring music from an array of composers that tackled themes of spirituality, relationships, nature, and self-reflection. I am dedicated to music as a form of expression and community building, and do some songwriting on the side as well.

My role at Harrison this year will be learning arts administration, coordinating with different artists, helping to facilitate building events, and contributing to the flourishing of the neighborhood. I am passionate about Harrison's vision of cultivating the arts within the community and supporting endeavors in cultural development, education, and social change. I am excited to learn and grow through this experience!
