Welcome, Reese!

Hi, my name is Reese Foytik. I am a senior Sociology major at Valparaiso University. I'm here in Indy through our school's CAPS internship program. This is my first summer interning with the Harrison Center and my first time in Indianapolis. I am looking forward to learning about the issues that urban neighborhoods and their residents face. I'm also super excited to interact with the artists in this space and, hopefully, make some art of my own. Although I will be exploring a lot of different things during my stay with the Harrison center, my main projects will involve porching and music. Connecting with Indianapolis and its culture is one of my goals for this summer. I want to be able to listen and learn as much as I can from the people I meet while I'm here.
