Esayas is a scratchboard artist, graphic designer, and photographer originally from East Africa. He has been living in Brownsburg, Indiana, since 2021. A devoted husband and father of three sons, Esayas discovered his love for art at an early age and taught himself how to draw with pencils. However, it wasn't until he moved to the United States that he decided to pursue a professional career in the arts.

In 2014, while studying at El Camino College in Torrance, California, Esayas found his true calling in scratchboard art under the guidance of renowned illustration instructor Professor Richard Ewing. This medium, known for its potential for extraordinary detail and precision, quickly captivated him. Today, Esayas specializes in creating highly intricate portraits of both humans and animals, deftly capturing the depth, character, and soul of his subjects with remarkable artistry.

Grateful for the support and creative freedom he has experienced in Indiana, Esayas continues to refine his craft, allowing his artistic talents to thrive. His work stands as a testament to his dedication, skill, and the unique beauty of scratchboard as a medium.
