12th Annual Independent Music + Art Festival, Saturday, June 8 from noon to 8pm
Apparatus, Inc. presents IMAF 2013, Saturday, June 8th! Now in its 12th year, the Independent Music + Art Festival is a day-long festival highlighting the best local and regional independent musicians and artists. Twelve bands on two stages provide continuous music in the courtyard of the Harrison Center for the Arts while the Indieana Handicraft Exchange hosts over 100 modern craft vendors inside and outside. We are excited to announce this year's music line-up. Returning as emcee and kicking off the festival with a set is the Lord of the Yum-Yum. Also playing: Rusty Redenbacher, Five Year Mission, Sleeping Bag, Shivering Timbers, Sweet Poison Victim, End Times Spasm Band, Luke Austin Daugherty & iLL Holiday, The Bears of Blue River, The Bonesetters, Pravada and headlining from Cincinnati, The Pinstripes.
The Harrison Center's art galleries will be open with Archaeornithology: an excavation of Urban Artifacts - new work in the Harrison Gallery by Beth Eisinger and Megan Hart and in the City Gallery, Dream Boats - new work by Kyle Ragsdale.
Vendors Judge's Tip of the Rib Barbeque and Duos Indy return along with Sun King Brewery and New Day Meadery.
