Welcome Taylor Solomon

Hello! My name is Taylor Solomon and I am doing an internship at the Harrison Center. My art consists of using crochet and knitting . I have been doing knit and crochet work since I was 9 years old, when my grandmother taught me a basic knit stitch. Since then, I have expanded my knit and crochet knowledge and have even created my own patterns. I’ve always loved making things for people and experimenting with different colors of yarn and different patterns, and this internship will allow me to do just that.

One of the projects I will be doing at the Harrison Center is crocheting slippers for those in need. 2021 has been difficult for a lot of people for a number of reasons, but I believe I can help someone by crocheting them a simple gift.
