Look Indy: The City is Your Classroom
On August 7th, the Harrison Center will be hosting its third installment of the 5 x 5 $10,000 Ideas Competition.
So what exactly is the 5 x 5? The 5 x 5 was launched in 2013 as a way to inspire, ignite, and financially support creative and innovative ideas related to the arts. To make this happen, Indy funders have put together a platform to give anyone with a great idea the opportunity to compete for a $10,000 prize at four unique 5 x 5 events.
The theme for the Harrison Center’s event this year is Look Indy: The City is your Classroom. In the spirit of Indy’s Plan 2020, we are looking for ideas that connect people to place, create a city that welcomes engages and inspires, spark the most civically engaged and committed community in the nation, and produce a community with unparalleled opportunity that allows Indy Hoosiers to thrive.
If you have an idea that meets these criteria, you could just be a five-minute presentation away from the $10,000 you need to make your idea a reality!
