More than an Art Center

If you're looking for an event space, I highly recommend.” The Harrison Center is not only a gallery and studio space, but an event space, too! We offer six unique venues that can be rented out for weddings, parties, business meetings, and all kinds of special occasions. Read about each space, and see which one will serve your event best.

The Harrison Gallery

In the Harrison Center’s main gallery, you can always find art on the wall, and the large windows let in plenty of natural light. The gallery is attached to a small kitchen, and a table can be lowered down from the ceiling for lunches, business meetings or formal dinners. In total, the Harrison Center gallery seats 70.

The Underground

As the name suggests, the Underground is located in the Harrison Center's lower level. It is perfect for small conferences and even has a small stage for music events.

Hank and Dolly's Gallery

Hank and Dolly's Gallery is another small space in the lower level of the Harrison Center and has large windows that let in natural light. However, the windows can be blacked out for multimedia presentations.

The Gymnasium

The Gymnasium is the Harrison Center’s largest event space. Built in the 1920s, it features vintage hardwood parquet floors and wooden bleachers for extra seating. Is it available for everything from formal events to photo shoots to basketball games. Decorate the space so that it serves the needs of your event.

The Courtyard

The Courtyard is a grassy, outdoor space off of Delaware Street that is great for wedding receptions, parties, and tented events.

Speck Gallery

The Speck Gallery is a former chapel turned art and event space. It can easily accommodate small receptions and has a stage, making it ideal for  weddings and presentations.
