What do you get when you cross Lemonade Day, the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 and Porch Parties? If you answered "A few of our favorite things" or "A perfect day," you are correct! And with the help of artist Kyle Ragsdale's paint brush and imagination, that's what you will see depicted on the latest 16th & Delaware billboard.

There is so much to celebrate in Indianapolis this May and we'd like to call special attention to just a few of our favorites. In 2007, Hoosier native and Houston-based entrepreneur Michael Holthouse launched Lemonade Day, a program designed to teach kids entrepreneurial skills with a 14-step approach to help them make a plan and achieve their dreams. With the help of local entrepreneur Scott Jones, Lemonade Day came to Indy in 2009. This year, ten lucky participants' hard work will pay off when they are paired with IndyCar drivers at the Motor Speedway, where they will set up their lemonade stands on Qualifications Day at the track!

And speaking of the track, this year marks the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500. The folks at the 500 Festival have come up with all sorts of ways to join in the fun. Our personal favorite? The porch party, of course! We're kicking off the season with a porch party at the Harrison Center on First Friday, May 6 from 6 to 10pm. Just look for the big tent, live music, cars, food trucks and more! We'll even have an Indy 500 art scavenger hunt.

Register to host your own porch party here, then swag up your porch with official Indy 500 Porch decorations. Register between April 29 and May 29 and you could even win prizes like celebrity drop-ins to your party, IndyCar or pace car rides, and tickets to special events.

In one way or all the ways, we hope you will join in the fun that is Indy in May, 2016!
