Petal Pushers
Douglas David
We've never been more ready for spring at the Harrison Center and this Friday night in the Harrison Gallery, it will be in full bloom! Curator, Kyle Ragsdale has gathered an impressive group of artists together for the group show, Petal Pushers. "For this show, we wanted to highlight artists that are painting flowers–some of whom are painting them in still life form–some of whom are painting them more as a motif for modern paint exploration." Ragsdale said.

He continues, "It is exciting that painters are exploring the boundaries of this traditional motif in broad ways." With the wide range in style as well as price points (ranging from $100 to $7000), there is something for everyone here.
We are honored to again show work by celebrated Indianapolis artist Douglas David and welcome new-to-the-Harrison Center, Fort Wayne watercolorist Diana Miller-Pierce. Rounding out the show are Addie Hirschten, Amelia Rose and Tess Michalik.
