Prints on Parade!
This month in Hank & Dolly’s Gallery, it's Prints on Parade! presented by Hullabaloo Press.
Established in 2016, Hullabaloo Press is the Letterpress and Printmaking entity of University of Indianapolis. The upcoming show is a collection of work from around 10 students, with work including letterpress, monotypes, and screen prints. Hullabaloo Press’ students use striking imagery and vibrant colors to showcase their diverse styles and emerging skills.
The artists whose work will be included were selected by Katherine Fries, their professor (and a Harrison Center studio artist), for showing dedication, skill, vision, and commitment to the start up of Hullabaloo.
Several of these Hullabaloo students have their work for sale, and will be reinvesting proceeds from sales to make a trip this Fall to the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum Wayzgoose, a conference.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 to 5 and the work hangs through September 29.
