Throwback Thursday with Ray Wyatt, the 500 and Porch Parties

Do people TBT on blogs? They do now. ;)  On the eve of our 101st Running of the Indianapolis 500 Porch Party at the Harrison Center, we thought we'd revisit the 100th Running, when this partnership between the racing community and porchers across the state began.

Last year, we invited you to open your porches, put out the checkered flags and celebrate the 500 like only Hoosiers can. And you responded with close to 600 registered!

Tomorrow night, we kick off another season of porching. Join us, along with the folks from the Indy 500, then go online here and register to host your own porch party. To help set the mood, click on the soundcloud link above and listen to "500" by Ray Wyatt. He performed at last year's 500 porch party kick off and he'll be one of the performers at tomorrow night's festivities, too!
