Kefi by Tashema Davis in the Gallery Annex. A series of oil portraits of brown and black girls in juxtaposition to traditional American cartoon princesses. Kefi, a Greek word, roughly translates to the spirit of joy, passion, euphoria, enthusiasm, exuberance, or frenzy.
