On This Earth In Speck Gallery, On This Earth is a vibrant spectacle of paintings by artist Donna Shortt. The work evokes breezy days spent outdoors and the feeling of grass underneath your feet. Show & Tell For last week's Show & Tell, we heard from Beatriz Vasquez, April's upcoming exhibiting artist in our main gallery. Vasquez is a social justice artist who works with paper to create installations referencing and honoring marginal communities and reflecting her Mexican cultural heritage. In addition, artists Kristi Marsh Watson and Derrick Carter gave us sneak peeks into their upcoming exhibits.
