Looking Behind the Curtain: New Work by WE ARE Indy Arts Black artist collective WE ARE Indy Arts has a surprising new show in our Speck Gallery. You can learn more about the work on display here and browse this exhibit in our online gallery. Multi/Faceted Artist friends Liz Nelson and Priya Wittman collaborated to create a spectacular show titled Multi/Faceted. The show sees both artists focusing on their unique crafts—from Liz's abstract paintings on wood to Priya's detailed gouache and fiber-arts pieces. Johnny filmed our summer music festival Bloombox, along with our recent artist interviews. Johnny is very inspired by music, and he has enjoyed spending time in our diverse community as a way of building his professional and interpersonal relationships.   Let Johnny introduce himself here. Songwriting at the Harrison Center Our robust summer songwriting internship has led to some exciting projects created by our music interns, residents, and fellows. We currently have three young recording artists who are writing music specifically about our neighborhood—building relationships and preserving memories through storytelling. Art Dish: A Culinary Delight Art Dish has been a celebrated fixture in Indianapolis's culinary scene since 2018 and it's still going strong: introducing guests to some of Indy's most fantastic chefs and amazing artists.
