Take a Peek into the 2024 Envelope Project
|
The Harrison Center's envelope project is a yearly tradition, helping us send our annual letter to 5,000 friends and neighbors. Each envelope is handcrafted by an artist. This year's artist is Caroline Park, a Korean-American illustrator. Watch as Caroline explains her process and heart behind this unique project.
If we have your snail mail address, you should watch for yours in the mail soon. If you'd like to be added to our mailing list to receive this year's one-of-a-kind envelope and Harrison Center update, let us know. |

Everyone has a story to tell. Storytelling Drawing Sessions, a weekly Harrison Center program, gives artists a chance to engage in the stories of our long-term neighbors. As community members tell their stories, artists are invited to listen and create.
This week's storyteller and model is Pat Van Doren. Hear how she became a youth boxing coach and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help local youth gain opportunities and scholarships. Please join us this Thursday, from 1:30-3:00 PM in the Speck Gallery, to draw (or however you like to create) with us. |
