Free! Come and celebrate the completed renovation of Polk Stables and the pilot of the Polklore Micro-Museum. You can tour Polk Dairy's former horse stables, see the new COhatch coworking spaces, and explore the story of the neighborhood through the Polklore Micro-Museum.
Polklore preserves the story of the Polk Dairy and its neighbors using art and augmented reality technology. Polklore is unique in that neighbors chose the artifacts and stories to be preserved, the artifacts are installed as art--in an assemblage art format, and AR technology allows neighbors to tell their own stories. Come and help us test our new AR technology in the pilot stage of this new cultural preservation project.
