For the month of August, City Gallery is exhibiting Persimmon, Persimmon, the debut show of married couple Elise and Caleb C. Keitt. Their eclectic, mixed-media collaboration features quirky ink and watercolor illustrations and customized sweatshirts inspired by food, history, and community.

The show can be viewed anytime in the Gallery Annex through the month of August: Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The works can also be viewed and purchased on our online gallery through September. |

Applications are now open for the Winter Artisan Market (formerly INDIEana Handicraft Exchange) to be held on Friday, December 6th from 6-9 PM!
For more than 15 years, this event has brought the finest in modern craft to Indianapolis. The December First Friday event at the Harrison Center welcomes more than 1000 visitors who will browse artisan vendor booths in the historic gymnasium. This market always features a wide variety of products from jewelry, ceramics and pottery, toys, bags, journals and one-of-a-kind finds to help visitors start their holiday shopping.
Applications will be accepted for both craft and food vendors. Food vendors must have the correct permitting necessary from the Marion County Indiana Health Department. The winter event is indoor only. Booth spots are limited to 30, 9x6 spaces. Applications are open through October 31, 2024.

The Harrison Center is a bustling hub of creativity and community, embodying a spirit of inclusion and dynamic activity that brings people together from all walks of life.
On any given day, the center brims with the energy of various gatherings, each fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared passion. The Collage Club, for instance, is a riot of color and creativity, where members share techniques and inspiration in a supportive environment. On another day, the soothing click of knitting needles can be heard from the Knitting Club, a cozy circle of crafters creating tight-knit relationships. Meanwhile, the Community Yoga sessions offer a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle, finding peace and connection in the shared breath and movement.
Each club showcases the Harrison Center's dedication to fostering a vibrant, inclusive community where everyone is welcome to explore their creativity, build relationships, and engage in meaningful activities.
