PATTERN Feature

Harrison Center artist-fellow Caleb John Smith is featured in the newest edition of PATTERN Magazine. Caleb writes about a week in his life following his move to Indy, showcasing his photography and describing his participation in the artist residency program.

Caleb is now completing an arts-administration fellowship here at the Harrison Center. Read his full article in the newest print edition of PATTERN.

Full House

This summer, the Harrison Center is packed with partnerships and young people of all backgrounds who are learning new skills in an artistic setting.

These include the following: Poetry Camp with Indiana Humanities, TeenWorks, Summer Academy with Herron Classical Schools, YMCA Clay Camp with Quincy Owens, art classes with ArtMix,

and Film Camp with Dija Henry. All this, plus our regular Cultural Entrepreneur Internship program, community activities, and work with artists. Such fun!

July's Art Dish

Tickets are available for July's Art Dish, featuring Chef Tracy from Ash & Elm. The featured artist is Eric Lubrick with his exhibition, Deconstruct/Reconstruct.

Art Dish is a fine dining experience where patrons get to converse with the exhibiting artist. Purchase your tickets here.

Therapeutic Art with the Greatriarchs and Katie Ito

We have been hosting weekly therapeutic art activities led by Harrison Center summer intern Katie Ito. Katie is focusing on helping people use visual and communal art-making to discover and explore their own story and invite others into it. Watch the video above to learn more.
