Welcome Studio Artist Rebecca Robinson
We're proud to welcome our newest studio artist Rebecca Robinson to the Harrison Center. Rebecca is an award-winning mixed-media artist who paints primarily with concrete and tar, creating works that feel aesthetically timeless while exploring themes directly related to vital cultural conversations.
In the summer of 2020, Rebecca became a member of the art collective " The EIGHTEEN," who created the street mural Black Lives Matter on Historic Indiana Avenue in Indianapolis during the Black Lives Matter movement. Rebecca is also a proud member of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum Planning Committee, Indianapolis Cabaret Board of Directors, The Indianapolis Black Documentary Film Festival Advisory Committee, and African American History Committee Advisory Board for the Indianapolis Public Library.
Watch this interview to learn more about her contribution to the 2020 Black Lives Matter mural and hear her describe her artistic process.

For Beauty's Sake, Olivia Wilkins
Herron School of Art Graduate Olivia Wilkins has covered Hank & Dolly's Gallery with flowers. Some are framed, some are creeping through the windowsills, and some are hovering - suspended by clear wires like curtains at the gallery entrances. Learn more about Wilkin's senior thesis show here, or browse her pieces on our online gallery. Donate to the Harrison Center
