For the past few years, the historic church building that houses the congregation of Joy of All Who Sorrow Orthodox Christian Church has been undergoing an extensive renovation/restoration. Throughout this process, expert masons have meticulously replaced dilapidated brick in order to maintain the integrity of this historic building. A time capsule containing historic documents of the church’s original members was discovered and extracted from the building’s cornerstone. And now, on Saturday, May 30th at 10:15 in the morning, the church’s cross will be installed in ceremonious fashion at the apex of the church steeple.
